Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling
Elise Ringen is a Masters Level Clinician seeking advanced licensure as a Licensed Practicing Clinical Counselor (LPCC). Elise earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling from Bethel University in Minnesota. She holds a Bachelor of Arts and Science from the University of Indianapolis, along with a certificate in Aging Studies. During her time as an undergraduate, Elise was a member of the Swim and Dive team and served as a Campus Minister for the campus Catholic organization.
Elise’s clinical interests include working with children and adolescents experiencing trauma, grief, depression, sports-related anxiety, and relational challenges. She also has a particular interest in supporting individuals and families involved in foster care and adoption, special needs, missionary work, and those impacted by trauma.
She has received training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for children and is certified to provide Telehealth services.
Elise is a pre-licensed clinician working under the supervision of Maggie Hartzheim, MA, LMFT (MN # 2431).
Insurance
When utilizing insurance benefits, sessions will be billed at $225 for the initial session and $180 for all subsequent sessions. Elise is currently an in-network provider with the following insurance payers:

We can provide a “superbill” for you to submit to your insurance for receiving out-of-network benefits; we cannot guarantee reimbursement from your insurance. To offer you privacy and simplicity, we accept HSA/FSA credit cards, accept all major credit cards, as well as cash or checks. Please check with your insurance provider to find out the portion of session fees they cover if you use out-of-network benefits. All clinicians offer an income-suggested sliding fee scale for those in financial need. Please contact your clinician to discuss your options.
Paying Privately
When not utilizing insurance benefits, sessions with Elise are $140 per hour. Payment may be made by cash, check or major credit card.
