Louisa Hall

Clinical Intern

Available for in-person or virtual sessions

Louisa has a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology with an emphasis in experimental psychology from Minnesota State University, Mankato. Currently, Louisa is enrolled as a graduate student at Divine Mercy University seeking to obtain her Master’s in Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

Louisa’s clinical view is informed by an attachment-based perspective and elements of Internal Family Systems (IFS) approach to therapy. Additionally, she integrates creativity into therapy to aid in one’s healing process. Louisa acknowledges how creativity and art can help clients engage in one’s healing process to make meaning of past experiences and to create new healing experiences.

Louisa’s clinical focus includes clients who are struggling with depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, body-image challenges, body dysmorphic symptoms, trauma, emotional concerns, and relational challenges.

Louisa views each of her clients through a holistic lens. Louisa accompanies her clients by facilitating a safe place where her clients can authentically grow, flourish, and pursue healing. She believes that each person has innate dignity and goodness and possesses the potential to grow, change, and heal. However, Louisa understands that psychological dysfunction, disorders, trauma, unhealthy relationships, and other psychological blocks can hinder one from pursuing healing and freedom. Therefore, her approach to therapy seeks to empathetically understand each client’s particular challenges and experiences by viewing each client in their unique personhood.

Louisa has a personal interest in seeking integration, healing, and wholeness within her own life. She enjoys pondering new ideas and questions, reading books, creating, and spending time in nature. Louisa recognizes that faith, truth, and God’s mercy have influenced her journey of healing.

Louisa is an intern working under the supervision of Kenna Millea, MA, LMFT (MN #3598) and Ben Baker, MA, LMFT (MN #4240).
